1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using Quizbud, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13, or the minimum digital-consent age where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must permit your use.
2. What Quizbud provides
Quizbud provides entertainment-oriented friendship quizzes, BFF tests, compatibility calculations, dares, prompts, writing tools, public custom quizzes, and authenticated Pair features. Features may differ by platform, location, account state, or app version.
3. Entertainment disclaimer
Quiz results, friendship scores, generated text, prompts, and insights are for entertainment and personal reflection. They are not psychological evaluation, counseling, medical, legal, safety, or financial advice. Do not use a result as the sole basis for an important relationship or wellbeing decision.
4. Accounts and security
Some features require Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for safeguarding your provider account and activity under your Quizbud identity. Do not share access tokens, impersonate another person, or attempt to use another person's Pair or quiz ownership.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant Quizbud a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the feature you requested. Public quiz links may be opened by anyone who receives or discovers the link.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual property, or the rights of another person.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not harass, threaten, shame, exploit, or impersonate another person.
- Do not publish unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, or infringing content.
- Do not probe security, bypass access controls, scrape at scale, automate abuse, or disrupt the service.
- Do not use Quizbud to collect sensitive information from another person without clear permission.
- Do not upload malware or content designed to compromise a device or account.
7. AI-generated content
Generated content may be inaccurate, repetitive, incomplete, or inappropriate for your context. Review it before sharing. You are responsible for your use and distribution of generated output.
8. Purchases and subscriptions
Optional purchases are billed through the applicable app store. Product availability, billing periods, renewal, cancellation, refund rights, and taxes are shown by the store before purchase. Recurring purchases renew unless canceled through your Apple or Google account settings within the time required by that store. Store refund rules apply unless local law requires otherwise.
9. Intellectual property
Quizbud's software, branding, interface, curated content, and documentation are owned by Quizbud or its licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from protected elements except where law expressly allows it.
10. Moderation and enforcement
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or secure the service.
11. Availability and changes
We may modify, pause, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent storage. Keep exports of local content you cannot replace.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quizbud is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Quizbud is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost data, profits, goodwill, or relationships arising from use of the service.
13. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Quizbud from claims arising from your unlawful use, your content, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.
14. Governing rules
Mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected. Account and privacy controls are provided through the authenticated app experience.
15. Termination
You may stop using Quizbud at any time and delete your account from the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect users or the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses you granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — continue to apply.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product or legal requirements change. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Quizbud regarding the service and supersede prior understandings on that subject.
